ADGA Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats

When making the choice to add dairy goats to our farm life we did our homework! About one year after the decision was made, along with a ton of research and searching for "the right goats" for our tiny starter herd, we brought home Nigerian dwarf goats. ND's are a great option for our farm and many other small farms because of their wonderful temperaments. They are small, manageable, and easy to work with an average mature weight of 60-95 pounds. NDs also have a very good feed input to milk production and their milk has a one of the highest butter fat between 6-10%. Which contributes to an amazing sweet and creamy milk, cheese, yogurt and other dairy products. Our milking adventures began in August 2021 when Katwalk, Knight, Spot and Daredevil arrived at Works For Now Farm.
